still having javascript trouble

ok well ive been having this problem for awhile when i try to open certain javascript applicantion websites i cant, ive tried enabling and disabeling loads of things, can you show me what should be enabled and disabled in my internet options again and try and help me with this its slowly getting worse and worse!!! all help much appreciated

Install Sun's Java. It's much more secure than Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine. It works much better as well.

i have its not working maybe i should try re-booting my computer start from scratch

goto -tools- intenet options - click the 'advanced' tab
scroll down until you see Java (sun) and/or Microsoft VM
click the following
(under Java (sun) ) click the ' use JRE [version number]for <applet>
also under the
Microsoft VM
click all three options.
