Open System Properties in Control Panel.
Choose the Advanced tab.
Click Settings in the Performance section.
Turn on the Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop option.
Click Ok.

You can also try MicroAngelo (v5.5 or later), which allows you to change the text color, configure custom icons, and change other aspects of Windows.

or

Another utility of this type is WindowFX.

Good Luck.

Yep:

Unplug it, set it up in the yard, get the most powerful gun you have and make sure it is sighted in correctly.

Hey Excal...

Sorry, this feature is not supported in Win98. There may be some third party software to accomplish this, but I've no experience with them so can offer no suggestions.... :tazz:

I found a webpage that may help:

Windows 95, 98, Me

* Obtain and install the Disappear utility (4 kb). You'll need VB40032.DLL (381 kb) if you don't already have it.
* You can also try the "On Display" feature of MicroAngelo for lots of extra features.

Never used these myself, but if you would like to try them, please let us know how it works out so that others can benefit too. :tazz:
