Hey you guys helped me out so much last time I thought I'd give a shot at trying to clean up my mother's computer which was infested with spyware and rogue programs.

I ran all the Adware, Spybot, Clean up!, and CWshredder things you listed in the "read this first!" part of the forum and I'm placing the hijack log here.

The major problem with this computer is Pop-ups from nowhere and a search bar with the URL "http://searchweb2.co.../newpass2.html"

Nothing kills this thing. Please help.

Let's get rid of the rest.

Copy the part in bold below into notepad and save it as remlop.bat
Set filetype to "All files" and save it to the same folder as findlop.bat

Doubleclick that file and reboot.

Then see if you can find this folder

c:\program files\admina~1 <= abbreviated again, but it holds the file does safe mpeg.exe
c:\program files\c2media <= entire folder (if present)

Your log looks clean, so that should do it.
