hi ok i was whacing a film on my win m player and then selected another one but the first was still playing thier in avi format then my pc crased and rebooted told me it had recoverd from a serious erro sent repot it told me it was the nivad g card then i relised i couldent play my games or ennything so i whent out got a 6800 and put it in now all my games work but win m player (were the crash happend) plays the films but thiers un whacable in all formats well i have tred mpgegs and and avi it sed something about a plug in or something when i ran it after crash i have reinstalled it 3 times with no afect reinstalled nivad drivers and i tryed dling a dvix codec and installing still no good i am thinking it has to be a core codec coz not only win m played dosent work but every single media player program on my pc powere dvd dvix player and some others all i do is whach movies and i am in great distres plz can someone help me :tazz:

hey never mind geeks i spent a few hours and sorted it basicly i have powere dvd and that comes with a more advansed codec so win m players defalt wasent microsoft it was powere dvd so i reinstalled it and everything is fine thanx ennny way
