my usb wont work

My USB don’t recognise any of my USB devices
i have checked the bios and the drivers and they seem to fine but my printer & my usb modem or my memory stick are not recognise

Yes all USB seem to be there. all looks fine but still the same I have even done a complete reboot on it but no joy

I remember Sam saying something about a usb device drawing more than 500ma and xp shutting down or suspending the port. Sam sugested a right click on the controller or hub (forget which) and 'scanning for hardware changes'. This may un-suspend the port. I would give it a try. Can't hurt anything at this point.....
