;) Hi, I am afraid I also seem to have fallen foul of the smitfraud.c which managed to get through both Sophos and Zone Alarm. I have downloaded and run Adaware SE and I still have the button in the toolbar telling me I am infected together with the IE security warning on the desktop.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I guess I should have called this TROJ/Alespy-b and/or TROJ/SPYJACK-A as that is what they are.

Hi :tazz: Fdisk was my salvation! You can close this now thanks.
