Here is Item Information that Norton gives:

The compressed file rundlg32.dll within C:\Documents and Settings\Hick\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\6QV3429L\rundlg32[1].cab is infected with the Bloodhound.Packed virus.

Here is the website it is taking me to:

Hello DaSuperhick, welcome to Geeks to Go! <_<

Please reboot into safe mode - How do I boot into "Safe" mode?.
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\System32\rundlg32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\rundlg32.dll
(and any other instances found)
C:\WINNT\Downloaded Program Files\REGDLG32.INF

Please delete your temporary files. Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)
You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin

Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. :D

Click Here to download TheKillbox. Extract TheKillBox.exe from the zip file and double click it to open it up. In the 'Enter Full Path and Filename to Delete' box, copy and paste these entries one by one, clicking 'Find and Kill This File' after each one:

C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\CONFLICT.1\rundlg32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\rundlg32.dll

Click 'Exit' when done.

Note: If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, download and run: http://www.javacools...ngfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.

Files not found... So either Norton reported a wrong file or something...

BTW Norton showed that the file is in C:\Documents and Settings\Hick\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\6QV3429L\rundlg32[1].cab

However I do not see Content.IE5 folder at all? <_<

Sorry to be a bother.

Ok this is my theory, I had a cookie that changed the start page, however I delted the temporary internet files and cookie was gone. No other files were left on my computer, except that start page was http://ginderbread.n...rms.com/gin/lan

Once I changed the start page that was it??

Does it sound logical?

thx for all the help BTW

You have to view hidden and system folders. It should have been removed when you emptied your temp folders in safe mode.

Give it some time, but it sounds like you're clean. <_<

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use) Click Here.

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

These next two steps are optional, but will provide the greatest protection.
1. Use ANY browser besides Internet Explorer, almost every exploit is crafted to take advantage of an IE weakness. We usually recommend FireFox Posted Image.
2. Install Sun's Java. It's much more secure than Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine .

It's okay to delete the Hijack This folder if everything is working okay.

After doing all these, your system will be thoroughly protected from future threats. :D
