I have successfully installed Yahoo Msgr. Works fine. All I wanted was Mail and Msgr. Is it safe to delete Yahoo Install Manager listed in Control Panel Add/Remove?

Does anyone know if there's any good reason to keep this program on our computers? I don't know how it got installed on my computer, either

I use Yahoo a lot for mail & other things, but not messenger.
