I had a problem with some bad sectors on my harddrive a few weeks ago. I ran chkdsk and it cleaned up some bad sectors. Ever since that time when I run a CMD prompt I get the following error:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.com
the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction

What can I do?
