Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz: I'm kool808.

Please read THIS first before posting.

In the future please DO NOT post your HJT Logs in this forum unless you are told so.

Have an On-line scan at this sites: Trend Micro or Panda Scan or BitDefender.

Post a log as a new topic in the Malware Removal Forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Some of the problems appear to be rectified. I have lost the ability to add a picture of my choosing to the desktop, the original xp choices are there but when I "browse", and "select" a pic it will not load there, nor does the "apply" button become useable. Any thoughts?

Did you already post your HJT logs in Malware Forum? Please review what I told you in post #2.

This topic will soon be closed due to wrong forum post. People on the Malware removal forum are qualified to analyze the logs in there. Thank you for the cooperation.

close or delete at will, I now understand what/where you wanted the post to go, your first slam on me was not very clear. I'm a newbie! I'm allowed three mistakes, and that two of them.

That is just fine, we understand. I am sorry if the instructions were not clear enough. After you are cleared and declared clean in the Malware forum but still having problems you are welcome to go back to this forum and we are glad to help you with it.

Would my inability to enter my desktop pic not fall into the guidlines of this forum?

this issue is related to the malware infection.

If, after getting a clean bill of health, and it still does not work, return here.
