Hello,

PIII 600EB
Aristro m754lmr Motherboard
256 MB RAM
Windows XP2 sp2 with all updates

The pc is locking up, locks up displaying a clear screen or locks up displaying verticle bars on the screen. I have to pull the power plug.

Scanned with ms-antispyware, tested ok.
Tested with Checkit, Norton 2005, tested maxtor harddrive, all ok.
Tested without any CD ROM or Burner.
Tested with another power supply.

Problem still happens, I even removed McAfee 8. PC still locks up displaying verticle bars.

Any Suggestions?
Thanks

It could be the SP2, SP2 has many problems and its still being tested at my work place. Your PC might not handle SP2, did you try installing just XP with SP1?
