I tried a different XP PRO CD just in case the disc was damaged. No dice. I copied the whole ASMS directory to the C: drive in recovery console. It seems to see it but talks about an an error on line 4 of one of the files. The CDs are both oem XP Pro with SP1 (from Microsoft). The system has never been anything but XP pro and is a single boot system.
Any suggestions??
