dailywinner! default address when page not found

Whenever I launch a site and it is down (e.g. I get that "Cannot find server... The Page Cannot be Displayed" message), a default address automatically populates (www.dailywinner.net/ads/ins.html or similar -- sometimes address repeats across the top) repeatedly, creating a flashing effect. Ad-watch/Zone Labs pop-up blockers then eventually shut it down, but then I need to re-launch explorer. I cannot locate anyplace to delete that "auto-population" of the "dailywinner" address -- can someone tell me how to prevent this?

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
