radeon 9250 problem

i just installed a ati radeon 9250 128mb pci vid card, and now i'm gettin lil flickers when my computer trys to load stuff, like when media player runs, it flickers alot, i tryed takin a screen shot to show my buddy but in the screen shot it doesn't even show the flickers, monitor problems? driver interference ? i'm not quite sure, any help would be greatly appreciated, thnx a bunch

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Try cleaning the previous driver installation and starting fresh. First, go to http://www.drivercleaner.net/ and get Driver Cleaner (it is free). Make sure you have the current driver available to install. Now go to add/remove programs and remove the current video driver. Then boot into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner TWICE, each time deleting all that it finds. Then re-boot and install the current driver.
