I need to create a letter from our contacts database in Outlook 2000, into our letterhead in word, without losing any formats.

I have added the letterhead into the templates folder but I don't know what to do to protect the formatting in the letterhead becasue whenever I using 'new letter to contact' function it deletes the letterhead formatting.

I hope this makes sense.

Any help at all would be appreciated!!

Cheers

Can you use the mail merge feature? If you have a database, mail merge ( in the tools menu) will recognize various formats.

Further instructions can be found in the KB on the Microsoft website.
