Hi again,

Well, I thought I'd run an antivirus check after Norton informed me that I had a non-repairable virus called 'Fugif'. So I ran Kaspersky - and it found a lot of nasties.

I've attached the log for you to look at when you've a minute.

Hi Rob,

Lets start ioff with clearing most of these out.

Please empty your norton quarantine folder.

I think we will find that many of these others will be false positives, but we will check.

Once you have emptied Norton, go to the links below and scan with each one in turn, allowing them to repair anything they may find.


Bitdefender

F-secure

Then download and run the latest version of Adawre from the link below

Adaware

Post back the results in your next log

I think that the Norton quarantine folder is empty. I've attached a screenshot for you to double check before I run the other tools.

Morning usetobe,

Please find attached log for BitDefender.

I ran Ad-aware > saved as adawarelog1 > fixed changes
Rebooted pc
Ran adaware again > no nasties found > saved as adawrelog2
