ok i started up my pc and the windows splash screen comes up then the bios page when i use anything to boot up it goes to a black screen with the mouse cursor in the middle i can move the cursor but thats all i can do. crl-alt-delete, alt-F4, starting in safe, vga, or last known config does not help at all. i have tried to put in a game with autorun to try that but it did not help eather.

Does it ever reach a logon screeen (did it ever)?

The mouse cursor is an actual mouse arrow or flashing dash?
