Hi,
I just got an iPod and have been trying to install the CD with iTunes onto my Windows XP computer. When I insert the disk, I get the message:

1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

I have been all over the InstallShield website and have been trying different things on my computer, but haven't figured out what to do to make it work. Can I just uninstall InstallShield and then reinstall it? There doesn't seem to be an XP version. I'm quite confused. Alot of the suggestions are quite unclear to me.

Can anyone help??

Thanks so much!

Sounds like a corrupt disk, take it back to the shop, and get a new one. Or goto the website and download it from there.

cheers woody
