I can't get rid of the Aurora pop-ups and the yieldmanager pop-ups. I've tried several suggestions and there is something that I'm missing. Here is my hijackthis file:

Hi postce,

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh HijackThis log. :tazz:

Hi postce,

First, Download LSPFix.exe to a convenient location. Do NOT run this program. This is only to be used if you lose Internet Access after removing NewDotNet.

To Get rid of NewDotNet, go to:

Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and remove the following:

New.Net Applications or New.Net Domains (anything that says New.Net)

If it is not there, go here and follow Procedure 4: NewDotNet Removal Procedure 4.

In the event that you lose Internet access after removing New.Net, please double-click LSPFix.exe that you downloaded earlier. You will see 2 panels. If there is any file listed in the "Remove" panel on the right-side, leave it as is and just click "Finish>>" then reboot your computer and you should now have access to the Internet. If nothing is listed under the "Remove Panel", do NOT do anything - just close the program. You will need to use another computer to come back here for further instructions on what to do.

After you do this, scan and post a new HijackThis log. As there is other malware to be removed. :tazz:

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
http://www.pchell.co.../safemode.shtml

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

Hi postce,
You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

First,
Scan again with Ewido.
Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
Click Save report.
Save the report .txt file to your desktop.
Now close ewido security suite.
Post the Ewido report here in your next post.

Second,
Please download and install Trojan Hunter, free trial. Check for updates, scan and let it clean what it finds.

Also, run this online virus scan: ActiveScan - Save the results from the scan!

Third
Download FindQoologic from http://forums.net-in...=post&id=134981
Extract (unzip) the files inside into their own folder called FindQoologic.
Save the folder, preferable to your desktop. Open the FindQoologic folder.
Locate and double-click the Find-Qoologic.bat file to run it.
Wait until a text opens, post it in a reply to your thread.

Finally
Please scan with HijackThis and post a new HijackThis log, the Ewido report, the Panda Active Scan report and the Find Qoologic log here in a reply.

Hi postce,

First,
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Now, please scan with Ewido again while in safe mode and post the results from your scan here.

Second,
You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune....oads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads....org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Finally,
Please post your Ewido log, the L2Mfix log, and a new HijackThis log in a reply.

Hi postce,

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

First,

C:\WINDOWS\browserxtras\pn\remove.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Temp\wrapperouter.exe

After that, Reboot.

Next,
Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log, and we'll clean up what's left. :tazz:

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

Hi postce,

First,
Please reboot your computer into Safe Mode (Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Second,
Please run Ewido again while in safe mode and save the report from the scan.

Third,
Reboot your computer. Now,open the l2mfix folder on your desktop again, to make sure we got all of the L2M. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread. Please be sure to copy and paste the entire log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Finally,
Please scan with HijackThis again and post a new log, along with the Ewido report and the L2M log in a reply.
