I just did a scan with Spyhunter and found about 20 cookies classed as medium danger, and 5 Gator files/programmes in the registry. Is it safe to delete these?

What exactly is Gator? Occasionally I get a screen asking "Do you want to download Gator" etc. I always close it, but what would happen if I did d/load it?
What does it do?

Okay to delete. You probably should check your Add or Remove programs in the control panel. If you find Gator, remove it.

What is Gator?
