I have been unable to repair,quarantine or delete W.32.Desktophijack in C:\\Windows\system32\WININET.dll using Norton antivirus version 2005 with latest live update. I have done numerous full scale scans with System Restore turned off and PC in safe mode but to no avail. Just purchased Norton 2005 and am reluctant to call them because of incident charge of $40 per call. Also was unable to remove the virus using Spybot, Webroot's Spy Sweeper and Noadware programs. My PC is working OK. but don't know what to do. Please help this novice. Thank-you. :tazz:
