rundll32.exe and winlogon trying to connect online

Some days ago winlogon.exe and rundll32.exe are trying to connect to several random ips and urls, but my firewall blocks it of course. i tried to scan my pc for suspicious things, but i cant find anything. as well i cannot just delete those both files since they are windows-essential.
just there's 'O20 - Winlogon Notify: MCD - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ami2evxx.dll'
ami2evxx supposed to be ati2evxx (ati-related). i think that's the problem. i find it 3times in the registry. it's not listed in services and therefore i dont know how to delete it
so im asking what i'd to?

Hi Wiz abd Welcome to GeekstoGo!

That appears to be the l2m Infection!

Download the l2mfix from here

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe.

Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop.

Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log.

Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until I ask you to.

If you recieve any error messages for CMD or Autoexec.bat>> Select Option 5 from the l2mfix and once at the Site,Click on the link that apply to your Operating System!

Double Click the file it downloads and Extract the files to its predetermined System32 folder!

now im asking if i can delete these files: audipdev.dll, nc23f6~1.dll. ncef6c~1.dll, nctaud~1.dll, nctaud~2.dll, nctaud~3.dll, nctaud~4.dll, w58c5cva.dll, zlbw.dll with killbox?
after fixing rundll32+winlogon problem, lately i get a pop up saying its windows security center, my sys aint stable etc -though i have only SP1, no SP2- and if i click yes, it leads me to some anti-spyware site. dont know if thats from KAV.
ah and it seems some links are going to be routed somewhere else, mostly when i search on google and click on the first listed result.

Is the MessangerPlus Program you have the Non Ad Sponsored Version?

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer.

After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log.

Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:

Please read Ewido Setup Instructions
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, follow these download and setup instructions, otherwise, check for updates:

Don't run it yet!

Download and Install
CleanUp!
Dont use it yet!

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)

Run Cleanup,when prompted to log off>> Select No

Scan the PC with Ewido just as described in the link-> Clean everthing it finds and make sure to Save the Report

Scan the System with Ad Aware,remove everything it finds and delete all quaratine files!

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab
Make Sure Normal Startup is Checked!!

Click Apply>>OK>>Follow the Prompts to Restart!!

Restart Normal and have the PC Scanned here:
Panda Active Scan

Delete everything the Online Scan finds!

You will need to be using Internet Explorer for the Scan to work!

Save the Report it generates

Download the Hoster from here:

Press "Restore Original Hosts" and press "OK"!
Exit Program!

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and the reports from Ewido and Panda!

Yes,Go ahead and Delete the files Panda Identified

This one however,I am unsure about,you should scan at the 2 sites below and make your own call!

Download RegScrubXP v.3.25

Now locate and open RegScrubXP and Click "RegScrubXP finds Problems"

Let it scan the System and when it completes Click "Select all Problems" and "Fix Selected Problems"

This is not a tool to be taken lightly,it should not be run more than a few times a year!

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and let me know what the Scans say about that file?

both scans say Audipdev.dll is fine... still i removed it from sys32 folder and renamed it and put it out of the disk. we'll see if sth happens.
and some time earlier, that popup came again:

I dont have any way of knowing what those files are!

As with any file,if I dont know,I scan it and then go and look at its properties and see if I can associate it with a function on the PC!

Even then,it can be inconclusive!

If you want those pop ups to Stop...Update Windows to SP2 and Install a Full time Reident Antivirus such as one of the 2 below

just gotta tell you something. few post earlier u told me to delete C:\WINDOWS\system32\rdsndin.exe .. i checked, it was gone.. but abt an hour ago KAV popped up said the file is still around. tried to delete, but that file did not let me accessing. checked the dir with cmd, file was not visible. so i tried to delete it with killbox as well with 'standard file kill' it said it could not be deleted. so i went to safe mode and used 'delete on next reboot' now killbox says the file is not around..

i hope this is true. let's see whats coming. even if there'll be no popup in next 24hrs ill notify you.

i found this so the first 6 files are fine... ill backup and delete w58c5cva.dll and zlbw.dll...
