I originally posted my problem under the IE section, here is a brief description...I was told to download Hijack this and post the log file here...sorry for not attaching it, i had to copy and paste as my pc is messed up and doesnt let me access anything in folders.

Hi,

Two main problems on my pc...the first is that when I try to click on IE for it to open it no longer opens up, I get an error message, 2nd is, I cant use my start menu...if I go to the start menu and try to select anything I get the same error message....I am able to use certain programs so long as they are on my desktop, but if they are on the start menu I cant open them from there or access any of my folders? Any idea of whats going on? this is the error i get Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Then it says if you were in the middle of something, you stuff might be
lost. I already tried running a microsoft windows update, ran my virus check, ran adaware and antispyware, and it still wont work? I'm on XP btw, thanks.
