I appreciate the list of steps you ask me to follow in order to try and resolve my computer problems. Unfotunately I cannot follow them due to my computer not co-operating.

The comp in question is running windows me. Upon opening a folder, all files are hidden. Every folder. I can run my CD burning software and all of the files appear in the directory structure within the software. The burner software crashes after around 5 mins.

In the top left corner of a folder is a small black square. It appears that The contents of the folder has been squashed into this small square.

If anyone is able to identify what virus this is, please respond.

Thanks in advance for any help.
