Hi.
I've recently installed Panda Platinum 2005 (version 9.02.01). Since then I have been having troubles and I wish someone could help me on this.

I have 2 kinds of problems. They are mutually exclusive.

Either what happens is the CPU pushed to 100% by a Panda component called Pavfires.exe, causing persistant extreme slowness to the computer (this only happens when i'm not connected to the internet - when i connect, Pavfires.exe stays somewhere between 0% and 3%).

Or, other times, i turn the computer on and a "low firewall protection" warning comes up on Panda self-diagnosis. When this happens, I search for Pavfires.exe on the Windows Task Manager and it is not there (i have no idea why). The computer works beautifully but the firewall protection seems to be down...

Anyone can help me on this one?

Thanks

you will probably need to contact panda software directly for assistance. I was unable to find anything about those errors except that the Pavfires.exe is part of the program.

infact the only real info I have found is on another forum found here.

Thanks starjax.

I have contacted Panda technical support a few days ago, but given their lack of reply I was trying to find answers somewhere else.
Maybe they'll reply one of these days...
