Depends on your computer, your video card.
If you tell people what kind of computer you have, what video card, then they may be able to better determine if it's possible for you to get above 24bit color.

Stock video card; whatever it is.
I remember befor it took a dump it went up to 256.

I read a few things about the normal stock card and it says your hightest quality will be 24-bit.

Yup, your 4mb video card will go up to 24 bit.

If you can change your video card, that's the only way.

You'll have to get a newer and faster video card. So do I in a few weeks.
