Excal...

Sorry it's taking me so long. I was out of town for 2 days.

Now since I posted my original message re: aurora. I updated my Norton (it had been out for a month...I know...baddddd girl). After I ran the updated norton it seems to have stopped the aurora...

Two trojan horse viruses showed up that were not "deletable" but are quarantined.

I'm an old school computer person....and I guess toooooo trusting. You know the type..."this could NEVER happen to MY computer" ! So NO more disasters. But I'll need help !

Do you suggest I continue to add the progroms on the page you sent me and run those since one of the spyware files were non deletable and showed high risk?

Sorry I'm not that computer literate.....but I learn fast...

Thanks so much for your time and help....once we get me all squared away I certainly plan to support your site !!!! You folks are a Godsend `

Hi artfulpotter and welcome to GeeksToGo!

I highly suggest that you post a HiJackthis log so i can take a look at it to make sure you clean. Although Norton is a good program, I highly doubt it got everything bad off your computer

If you ended any processes in MSCONFIG, start them before you run the hijackthis program.

Thanks,
