I've come to figure out my performance is due to the horrible fragmentation on my laptop. So I was reading up on it and I see there are external defrag programs. SO my question is for my system (XP) anyone know of any Defrag programs outside of just windows free or shareware or limited that I can use to clean this up some. Thanks

The Defrag on XP is a variation of Diskkeeper. It acually is pretty good.
Start, All Programs , Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.
Also you can run the DisK Cleanup app in there as well.

You can also use a combination of dirm and buzzsaw
