been playing source for bout 6 months now myself, my bro decided to get it now aswell. hes trying to play it on a packbell imedia 5093 with 512 ram, pentium 4 2.6, with a geforce mx440, it keeps crashing the whole computer just before the progress bar reaches full :/ does anyone have a solution to this??

you will need to either reduce the video options to the lowest quality, run the game with dx8 compatabilty mode, or update the video card.

they say it wont work on the mx card so ant gonna bother tryin incase it messes stufff up, but cheers for the reply ne way
