Learn ActionScripts first then work with Flash. Are you making the splash screen with a program?

cool effects..A few tips, (1) I think it would be better if the background of the flash was the same color as the bg of the page, or if the flash it had a border, (2) the sliding text and time things are are kinda un-proffessional looking if your thinking of starting a hosting company, if not, what ever suits you :tazz: , and lastly, the "home" text is very hard to click with IE, but fine with firefox.

Nice logo, hope to see your site take-off!

Thanks for the comment ssone, and as per having a hosting company, I don't think so. I just bought the name and I'm testing and see what I can do!

Thanks anyways!

I'm all for SUGGESTIONS!

ONE MORE PROBLEM GANG!

I'm now trying to create a Preloader for my site so that I could give people the option of skipping the flash intro!

Can some one give me some hint on how to do that!

Now, I have worked on the preloader only one problem I'm having is that I don't know how to slow down how the preloader loads so that I could give people enough time to choose if they want to see the flash intro page or not!

Please someone, let me know how I could do that!

Thanks in advance!

You could try just having a skip intro button at the bottom the whole time the intro is loading or playing

Hey Trido Action Script is what Flash uses to create usability and scripting features in Flash! It is a fundamental component of Flash and is really worth getting to grips with. Especially if you would like to have true interaction between the user and the Flash animations being implemented in the design.

Ditto, I'd reccomend:

Flash Developer Center:
http://www.macromedi...h/?promoid=BIOI

The Macromedia Flash forum:
http://www.macromedi....cfm?forumid=15

The Flash Exchange:
http://www.macromedi...hange&loc=en_us

That should head you in the right direction and assist you with your learning curve with regards to Macromedia Flash.

Hope it helps and good luck mate.
