:tazz: ;) ;)
HELP HELP HELP,
I have been playing BF2 is singleplayer for quite a while now, and wanted to give multiplayer a try. i went throgh all the usual steps: created an online account, set my oprtions, blah, blah. Eager to play online, i entered the first server i saw with a ping below 200. Good, the loading screen poped up and before i knew it i was ready to join the battle. After aprox 15 minutes of playtime, I was kicked back into windows with the appearance of a memory.dll error telling me thet memmory #### is attempting to dellocate memmory ####. What could be causing this problem??? Please respond! I will be posting pictures of the error message sometime in the near future. PLZ, i am desperate.

p.s. the numbers in the error message are allways different.

~Alex :help:

Oh, and my computer is an intel board with 1 gig ram, geforec 6600GT, and a pentium 2.8, with 3 80 gig hdds

In case you are wondering. In most programming languages the programmer is responsible for allocating and deallocating the RAM. When a programmer forgets to deallocate RAM that is what is called a memory leak.

does this happen with single player or multiplayer?

THanks for the pic. It helps a lot.

found this on the battlefield2 forums:

I thank the guys over at Game-Deception for this fix, and the developers of this fix along with me are currently working on fixing the bugs in this patch to fix the minimap and other textures. I ask that this thread please be stickied and only post in here if you have any ideas or suggestions for the patch.. If you have questions, you may ask those also.. People are willing to help!

If anyone here is good with DX Coding, C++ and DX SDK, please PLEASE send me a forum PM or an AIM IM @ no but because, we have the source code for this dll and wrapper and are looking for more people to help improve it's quality and stability.

Fix Link:

Any future updates to the patch, .dll's and/or other files, WILL be posted in this thread. So mods, Please, STICKY!

don't know if it will work, but worth a try. the only other issues that I have seen is the recomended solutions is to clean the temp. internet files and reinstall the game. I would recomend using Cleanup! found http://www.geekstogo...=download&id=49. this is a great temp file cleaner.

oh and the original thread for the quote is from http://www.forumplan...392&tid=1672681

thanks,
