My Theme Service is not running please help me....

This will open the services window.
Double-click on "Themes" service. And change its startup type to automatic. And reboot.

Now look for THEMES in the right hand pane, double click
That said, I suspect the problem is not the service is not running, but that FORCE CLASSIC THEME is enabled as a group policy.
Have you recently cleaned any spyware? Have you run a spyware detection program?
start > run
regedit
enter
navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
right click the folder, choose export, then zip it up and attach it to your next post (you must zip it, as you cannot attach reg files)

Double-click on "Themes" service. And change its startup type to automatic. And reboot.
I can't thank you enough "darth_ash" because what you typed worked perfectly! I had just lost my default xp theme and was searching around for awhile until i ran into this post and your response so i joined this site just to thank you
