G'day! I have the age old problem with the ignore or cancel with Subsystem 16 blah blah. I have tried XP FIX from the links and all it does is stop the flash from coming up but nothing happens. For example I tried to install Ad-Aware se.. all I get is a black screen box flash up and that is all. When I reboot.. I get the original problem back.

I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but can anyone help?!

Thanks Aust... 3rd time lucky! I finally resolved the problem from the link you gave using the C:\windows\repair option... phew!! Thanks a million!
