Okay, I screwed up, a friend installed his xp on my computer and it was not activated in 30 days. I want to uninstall xp but it is not listed on the add/remove programs and i cant use the command prompt to uninstall because it was not registered. Now I cannot log on until I activate it.

Any suggestion? I am willing to format the hard drive if possible. Thanks

Set your BIOS boot order to cd first, then insert your valid XP disk and follow the prompts. Good luck.
