EZ BIOS allows your BIOS system to overcome the original Drive limitations. in older BIOS versions you could only have partitions and drives of certain sizes because there were only drives available in certain sizes. with the speed at which drive sizes have increased it has been difficult for the BIOS manufacturers to keep up since this info is basically hardwired into the system. EZ BIOS allows you to use large capacity drives with these older versions of BIOS so that you can use "older" versions of BIOS with "newer" drives (older isn't really that old...but by the time i finish writing this someone has probably created a drive the size of a flea that can hold all of the known knowledge in the universe)
