my background display reads critical warning system has been stopped die to a serious malfunction.Spyware activity has been detected

i scanned my pc with norton and it says it was infected with Trojan.Desktophijack.B
so i deleted that but my pc still wont let me go to my display settings....wat do i do?

you probably have malware remaining, plus the malware you removed altered your registry to prevent certain windows settings.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

ok i did almost all the things on the click here and now the bg changed to something saying security warning a fatal errooe in IE at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD VMM<01> + 0010E36.Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c


now wat do i do?
