Hi my son got this worm, doesn't know how, and I have cleaned to the best of my abilities. Here is hijack this log. I think the "gtbey.dll" driver has to be removed.
The gds5.dll driver as well. I don't trust "winampa.exe or mfcel.exe and I will try and remove those. Anything else to look at? Is "iexplore.exe" to be checked off?

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz: I'm kool808 and I will be helping you today.

I am working on your log. As soon as I made a good fix for this, I will post a reply. Thank you for your patience.

If you can still remember it, what were the entries you deleted from HJT?  It would not be a good practice to delete entries you are not familiar with instead of getting it fix it could make the problem worse. Do not worry I will be here to guide for the rest of the fix.

We need the complete part of HijackThis: Revise it and post the complete:

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1
Scan saved at 10:02:30 AM, on 7/11/2005
Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)

[EDITED] * added the header part of HJT.
