Please secure a PRINT COPY of the instructions here.

You have lots of malware but just calm down we can shot them one at a time. They will feel our blazing barrels! :tazz:
==============================================
You are advised to temporarily DISABLE the following Protection Programs:
  • Lavasoft's Ad-Watch
(Note: We will re-ENABLE them later after your system is all clean and malware free.)
==============================================

I strongly advise that you download the following programs from another computer then transfer it to your PC.

Download the Hoster Here
DO NOT run the program yet.

Unzip Host to your desktop

Open up the Host program.
  • Make sure that the instruction found on the upper right corner is labeled "Your Host file is editable. Click button to right to make your Hosts file Read-only" and must be in green. Otherwise, click the button just right beside it to change the label.
  • Click back-up Host files
  • then click Restore orginal host files
  • close program
===============================================

First, Download LSPFix.exe to a convenient location. Do NOT run this program. This is only to be used if you lose Internet Access after removing NewDotNet.

To Get rid of NewDotNet, go to:

Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and remove the following:

New.Net Applications or New.Net Domains (anything that says New.Net)

If it is not there, go here and follow Procedure 4: NewDotNet.

In the event that you lose Internet access after removing New.Net, please double-click LSPFix.exe that you downloaded earlier. You will see 2 panels. If there is any file listed in the "Remove" panel on the right-side, leave it as is and just click "Finish>>" then reboot your computer and you should now have access to the Internet. If nothing is listed under the "Remove Panel", DO NOT do anything - just close the program. You will need to use another computer to come back here for further instructions on what to do.
===============================================
Please close all remaining windows, disconnect from the internet, open HijackThis then click SCAN. Please put a check on the following items listed below:

O2 - BHO: URLLink Class - {4A2AACF3-ADF6-11D5-98A9-00E018981B9E} - C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet6_38.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [New.net Startup] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL,NewDotNetStartup -s

Make sure to double check the items you have selected,then click Fix Checked.
================================================
Reboot in SAFE MODE. (How to boot in Safe Mode...)

Be sure to [ View Hidden and System Files ].

Through Windows Explorer, delete the following folder(s) or files(s) if they exist (in bold):
  • C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet6_38.dll
  • C:\Program Files\NewDotNet
Finally, Empty Recycle Bin
================================================
By this moment it should have already cleared all your host files as well as got rid of NewDotNet.
Now for the rest of them let us have another look.
  • Reboot to Normal Mode.
  • Close all windows and disconnect from the internet, then open HijackThis then SCAN.
  • Post a NEW HijackThis Log.
  • Please tell me how your system is working now.

Hi there gpan123, ok your log is now much better. Let us now hunt for the other infections.

Please SAVE THIS PAGE or secure a PRINT COPY of the instructions. Make this as your reference.

You are advised to temporarily DISABLE the following Protection Programs:
  • Lavasoft's Ad-Watch
  • Ewido Guard
(Note: We will re-ENABLE them later after your system is all clean and malware free.)
============================================
Please open your Ewido Security Suite, then follow the setup instructions [ HERE ]
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.

* On the left hand side of the main screen click update
* Then click on Start Update

The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido. [ HERE ]

DO NOT run the scan yet, we will run it later.
============================================
Please download Nailfix from [ HERE ]
Unzip it to the desktop but please DO NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
(How to boot in Safe Mode...)

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.
============================================
We will now fix the remaining problems with HijackThis. Please close all remaining windows, disconnect from the internet, open HijackThis then click SCAN. Please put a check on the following items listed below:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FB153DCE-822E-47ec-8D00-2706E7864B37} - C:\WINDOWS\KB290333.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ucyzdw] c:\windows\system32\cdhsaf.exe r

Make sure to double check the items you have selected,then click Fix Checked.
============================================
Be sure to [ View Hidden and System Files ].

Through Windows Explorer, delete the following folder(s) or files(s) if they exist (in bold):
  • C:\WINDOWS\KB290333.dll
  • c:\windows\system32\cdhsaf.exe
Finally, Empty Recycle Bin
============================================
Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan. Also tell me how your system is working.
