i don't know hwy, but it suddenly stop reading DVDs, and i can't find new drivers for it

The bad news is your drive probably died. Is it recognized in device manager?

yea it is, it just doesn;'t read DVDs, it butrns CD, and reads CD, just won't read DVDs

This just confirms a problem with the drive. DVD Burners use two lasers. One for CD's, and one for DVD's. Sounds like you're having a problem with the DVD laser. <_<
