I followed some other directions found on this site for removing Spy Sheriff. Everything has been removed and I have been able to take control of my desktop again. However, When trying to open task manager, I am receiving a message task manager has been disabled by your administrator. Can someone send me some guidance to get this fixed? :tazz: ;)

Hi Brian1979,

Welcome to geekstogo.com!!

To resolve this issue, please download this file:
http://windowsxp.mvp...eg/EnableTM.reg

Save it to your desktop then double click it. Say Yes , then Ok to the confirmation messages. See if you can now open task manager.
