Hello,
"Sponsored Links" on key words are now appearing on webpages that I view. What is the best way to remove this distraction?
Seems to me it started after I accidently clicked on a website advertising "Kill All Spyware". Also all the links reference an ISP http://216.130.188.2...lk.fcgi?id=xxxx (where xxxx is a particular vendor's address code I guess).

Any help apprecided.
Thanks,
Walter

Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm just loaded the latest version of AdAware...it's scanning as I type this.
And Spybot...I should update this also. It's been awhile.

Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Run these and report back if the problem is still not fixed.

Cleaned a bunch of my system and thought it was fixed. Then after about 30 seconds of bringing up a webpage, the underlined links appeared. Still not fixed yet.

Did a few Adaware scans and rebooted each time. Spybot the same thing. It cleaned a few hundred concerns off my computer, the "sponsor links" still show in webpage text underlined and green.

Sounds like its time for you to go download Hijack This and post a log in the HJT forum.

Good luck.
