No Run or Open option on File Download Isning IE6

Hey guys/gals need help have a PC that I am working with that has no Run or Open option when downloading a file off the internet. PC is running Win 2000 IE6.

is this a personal pc or a work one? there may be an administrative setting stopping the download...(i'm sure youve done this) but check the internet settings

It is a work PC but I spoke to the Admin person and they say no changes have been made and I got all the settings to match mine.

so basically, you click a llink to download and it only gives you the option to save it?

Does it occur for only selected type of files or all files.
e.g.: Does occur only for .zip files or all type of files.
If its the first case, then u must have unchecked the "Always ask before opening this type of file" option, when a download window must have appeared.

Well it was some sort of pop up blocker that was causing it.
