Can you all help me find out what is the hightest CPU I can put in that motherboard in our 2300 pc's?

What Socket is our Dell Deminsion 2300 motherboards cpu is?

Are they for sure 100% sure Socket 423 OR what for sure Socket are they?

Can you tell me what the model number for your motherboard is? If you dont know or cant find it then you could download SANDRA Lite 2005.SR2, it is a program that will tell you almost anything you could possibly want to know about your computer. If you can let me know the model number I will be able to tell you the maximum CPU you can put in there.

I got one too. I've run the CPU at 100% for hours at a time, no problems. A workhorse.

Our 2 Dell Dimension 2300 PC's are doing great!

My wife and my DELL Dimension 2300 PC's are not broke down or needing a motherboard currently.

So far.... they are working perfectly, mmm so far!

I would like some help finding out what my Dell Dimension 2300 pc has for a motherboard, I know the manufacturer but do not know the exact motherboard model or anything and want to know for future information see.

get the program i said above, SANDRA. It will tell you almost all the information you could want to know.
