Ok Im new to this forum and im hoping some one can help me.
I have just recovered from something that hid my desktop and start menu. but i could still open stuff through task manager. Well after recovering from that i noticed the blue bar up top was smaller, I could not save my settings, I could not change desktop background, I could not download files. I am using windows xp sp2. I really need this fixed and i cant download any files so im really stuck. I have ran spybot S & D, Ad-Ware Se, avast anti-virus, Trojan Remover, and microsoft malware remover and still no good. Is there a way to fix this through cmd, regedit or something? Thanks

I think you might have to go to the hijack forum.I think you still have a virus or trojan it is best to try them 1st before we try a repair. If the can't help you come back here and we will look at doing a repair
