I need a macro associated with a control button that will send the active sheet in the form of an email, with a specific subject.

You may not need a macro. Why not simply use the menu File/Send To/Mail Recipient (as Attachment...). You can put a button on the toolbar for this by selecting Tools/Customize..., select the Commands tab and drag the button to the toolbar. If you have any problems putting the button on the toolbar, read this link for assistance.

Thanks very much for that - certainly made progress... ideally I'd like to be able to compete the eMail address rather than ask a user to do that, and set different 'subject' texts depending on which button was pressed...

Ta!
