Operating system not found

Hi Guys and gals,
I have installed a new hard drive to an existing computer. I put in the oem xp disk to install operating system, however every time it loads it says no operating system found.
Please help :tazz:

With a blank hard drive, it won't find an operating system until after you install one. You'll need to go into your BIOS and set it to boot to your cd-rom before booting to the hard drive so that you can load XP on the new drive. If you need help with this, let me know.

Did you go into bios and change the boot options to boot from the Cd first?

To get into bios, hit the delete key contiuosly as the computer starts up.

Make the CD drive the first on the list for boot order.

Exit bios saving changes, and let the computer boot up.

When the message Boot from CD shows up, just hit enter.
