I just recently reinstalled windows xp home edition on my dell demension 2400 and ever since i have had no sound i am guessing that it is a sound driver update that i need but i cant find any downloads for it im not sure about that type of sound card but i do know that the last time had this problem ( after deleting the sound driver :tazz: lol ) i had to reinstal jave runtime enviormen and pci sound max not sure which fixed the sound but im prety sure that it was the sound max so does anyone have any good guesses about what the problem is and if so how to fix it ?

Try the dell website...

I don't know i don't have a Dell, making your beast your self is the way to go :tazz:

go to the dell website..you can enter your service code and it will get you the drivers you need
