Sata Drive DVD/Cd

Hi Hope you can help me

I have two hard drives and one Cd drive and one DVD add ide

I got the bright Idea that it would be great to add a second DVD Drive so I can copy from one drive to the other.

So I added a Plextor 712SA sata drive
Now when I reboot the system the system see the drive

But went windows comes up it does not see it
I have try updating the driver but that did not help

Oh yes if I disconnect one of the Cd/DVD drives, then the other drive (sata) shows up and works

I do not know if Cmos is set up right for this drive I have tried a lot of combinations
