Hello ...
I am seeking help in choosing what Video card will work with my system or
a normal Windows 98 SE system to be able to operate for newer Graphics games,
I am studying the MYST serives and am an artist interested in the graphics
used in the MYST series of games, however I fear my system will not operate
even RIVEN which is the second in the series I am interested in at least trying
to play RIVEN and EXILE on the Wndows 98 SE if possible.

For Windows CD-ROM* RIVEN

Windows 95 required
100 MHz Pentium or faster
16 MB RAM
Minimum 75 MB hard disk space
4X CD-ROM drive or faster
640x480 display, High Color
Windows compatible sound device
Video and sound cards compatible with DirectX**

and for EXILE MYST III

Processor: Pentium® II 233 MHz
Video Card: 8 MB
Hard Drive Space: 2 MB
333 MHz MMX or faster CPU
Windows 95/98/2000*admin 64MB RAM
200MB available hard disk space
4x CD ROM drive or faster
640 x 480 display, high color (16-bit)
Supports optional 3d hardware acceleration
DirectX 8.0a
Sound board and speakers

My current system is as follows:
Windows 98 SE with 63.0 MB of RAM, Intel Celeron Processor
32 bit viftual Mem, CreativeSoundBlaster Audio,
Sony CD-RW CRX100E which I think is 4X,
Intel R 810 chipset Graphics Driver PV1.1 (DC100)
181XvXD
4.11.011.1225 Version PV1.1
Intel
Video Bios Version 03.00
Memorey Size: 4 MB
Microsoft Direct X Version 4.08.00.0400 (DirectX 8.0 upgrade)

I would like to know if possible a recomended Video Card that is NOT Integrated,
and that will have enough memory to play these games. Also I am not sure
how to check to size of my Hard Disk space, it currently is some 80% free,
but I am not sure how many MB that is for my system. I am going to set up a
new computer just for this work, and like the Windows SE, but am unsure if
i can do this, get enough memory into it, and and get a video card that will
have enough memory, so any ideas will be welcome. thanks
