Travis

I've briefly looked at your log and I can't find anything wrong. However, I did not research every item, and since I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT I"M DOING when it comes to malware, I'm going to post your HJT over at the malware forums to let the experts look it over.

EMCguy

Just curious Did it run OK in safe mode? Obviously you were able to generate the HJT log. But did it lock up still in safe mode?

EMCGuy

PS I didn't see any antiviurs running? Is it built into Zone alarm? what do you use?

Could someone who knows malware look this over.

We can close this one. after travis got into safe mode, he restored his system to 5 months ago, and now it seems to be working fine. If I knew how to close a topic I would do so.

Clearly it was a software problem, but many of the symptoms symptoms seemed to point towards hardware.

Thanks for the perusals.
